About Me
Hi, I’m Sydney (she/her)! I earned my PhD in chemistry from the University of Virginia in 2025, and while conducting my dissertation research on neurodegenerative diseases, I actively served as a volunteer academic editor in my research group. I currently work as an academic writer and editor, and I'm a member of the Editorial Freelance Association (EFA). I also have a wonderful (and somewhat noisy) editorial assistant and aussiedoodle named Percy.
